League Rules

This league is designed to be a Season based series played on Monday nights. It will be a three-round event each week. It starts at 7:00PM and has a $8.00 entry (store credit cannot be used as entry).

The Seasons are as follows:

January 1^st to March 31^st(Season One)

April 1^st to June 30^th(Season Two)

July 1^st to September 30^th(Season Three)

October 1^st to December 31^st(Season Four)

How points are awarded:

Each Win will be awarded 3 points.

Each Loss will be awarded 0 points.

Each Tie/Draw will be awarded 1 point.

You will also earn 1 point for attending each Monday night.

At the end of each Season, the top two players who have accumulated the most points will qualify for the end of year tournament. To be held in January of the following year.

You may only qualify once for the end of year tournament.
If a player has already qualified and finished in the top two of another Season, the invitations will be given to the next highest accumulated points of that Season.
A player may win more than one playmat throughout the year.

Prizes:

Each Monday night prizing is based on rounds won.

3-0 = $20 Store Credit

2-0-1 = $10 Store Credit

2-1 = $10 Store Credit

At the end of each Season the player with the most points accumulated will receive a season champion playmat.

Throughout the year tournaments:

In the third and fourth quarters of each year, the Legacy League will hold a proxy friendly $1k paid out in cash. These $1k’s will be capped at 64 players. Each player who comes to the tournament will receive 20 player points for the year to help them catch up for the Player’s Tournament. On top of the prize support pay out. The person who wins a $1k will also automatically qualify for the players tournament. Prize out is $400 for first, $200 for second, $100 for third and fourth, $50 for five through eighth.

End of Year Tournaments:

The Top8 1k

The top two players of each Season for a total of eight players will play in a best of five Top 8 style pairings. Seating is based on the highest to lowest score of the player’s respective Season. This tournament will be a $1k. Prize out is $400 for first, $200 for second, $100 for third and fourth, $50 for five through eighth.

Player’s Tournament

The Player’s Tournament is free for everyone who participates in the league and accumulates 100 player points for the whole year. This tournament is for $700 total prize support paid out in store credit (Parker Banner Kent and Wayne). The Top8 players from the 1k tournament will each have a $25 store credit bounty on their heads, until they lose a round. If they are defeated in the Swiss rounds, the player who defeated them will win $25 in store credit. The other $500 in support will be paid out to the Top8 players. Prize out is $200 for first, $100 for second, $50 for third and fourth, $25 for five through eighth.
